I finished my second crochet project right before the Christmas holiday. I really enjoyed doing it and was very satisfied with the outcome. My girlfriend went out of town for a couple of days after her graduation and I decided to start her a scarf and have it done by the time she got back. So I really only had 3 days to do it. I NO idea it would actually take the whole 3 days. I was crocheting on lunch breaks, at night until the wee hours of the morning and I even crocheted a bit at the dentist office in the chair! Anyway, I got it done before her plane landed. She loved it.
Over the holidays we went home to visit family and I got so many requests to make these scarves my hand was numb thinking about it. But it was really refreshing and made me feel good to know that people like and enjoyed my work so much that they wanted to wear it. So needless to say, I have about 10 scarves to make! I figure it takes me about 3 ½ days to make one and at least a month in a half to get all of them done. Anyway, I like making people smile. And a couple of those are paying orders. WOW! I’m smiling from ear to ear.
